Bpf Koopvaardij’s pension administrative management has been transferred to new administration platform

Bpf Koopvaardij's pension administrative management, which includes all member and employer data, was transferred to a new administration platform on 1 January 2024. The system in question is the NPS MAP system, which is a derivative of PGGM's MAP platform. Bpf Koopvaardij's administration includes the data of some 50,000 pension members and 162 employers. The transition to the new administration platform means the fund is prepared for the transition to the new pension system, expected on 1 January 2026.

Successful implementation
Over the past month, a full failure-free cycle of data processing, contribution collection and payment of pensions has been run in the new administration system. For members and employers of Bpf Koopvaardij, the transition therefore went virtually unnoticed. 'The successful implementation can be designated as an exceptional achievement of MN and PGGM employees, who worked on this together,' says the fund's chairman Remko Kloos.

An important step
The transition to the new administration system is an important step towards transferring the pension administration of Bpf Koopvaardij from MN to PGGM. That will take place on 1 July 2024. MN's pension department, which has provided administrative management for the fund since 2010, will relocate with the system to PGGM as of that date. This means that data management and customer contact for members and employers of Bpf Koopvaardij will continue to be carried out by the same professionals of the current MN, but in the service of PGGM.

The management of Bpf Koopvaardij's invested assets will not relocate but will remain with MN.
